Our naive selves didn’t check what the weather is like in Italy in April/May, and we just straight up assumed it would be summer heat from the get go. Nope, Spring was still frigid, with cold and wind bitting at you soon as you stepped outdoors.
It was cold in Puglia when we first arrived, with random bursts of sunshine and heat when wind and clouds dispersed.
When you want your legs to see a hint of sun for the day, even when its cold but can heat up suddenly, you are dressing for two very different seasons.
Here is my attempt at staying warm when the winds blow. I was able to throw off the jacket easily when it heated up and my legs saw the light of day.
