Update #6 | Italy to England.

Whats happened?

August 31st, Jacob and I flew to London, hopped on a train and traveled down to my families home on the coast. After a lovely five months in Italy enjoying the summer weather, it’s lovely to see the beautiful English country side once again. It has been a lovely week so far with the family and Jacob and I even caught a train up to London for a day of sight seeing. My last visit to London was very enjoyable and this time around it feels like coming home to my own city.

Whats to come?

Well, I’m not certain haha. England is such a comfortable country to be in, you just want to relax and enjoy the countryside and seaside areas. London, on the other hand, has a surplus of things to see and do! Jacob and I are very keen to discover some hidden treasures.

Whats new in the suitcase?

Ok, a lot of skin care related products and some makeup. haha. 🙂 On one of our last couple of days in Italy, I got the gorgeous body oil, Precious Dry Oil from Yves Rocher. It’s got a lovely gold shine to it and smells heavenly. To apply, I’d recommend only a small 20 cent coin worth. Too little, I didn’t see enough sparkle (I like to sparkle a lot) and too much and I’d end up sliding all over the place. Haha.

I purchased the brand new Clarins Double Serum on my second day in England at lovely Canterbury and I have really loved using it. You are able to adjust how much product you dispense, use am and pm, and though it shouldn’t matter, it smells amazing! Haha. 😉 Last but not least (In the skin care range that is) the Sunday Rileys CEO serum!! Ok, I’m a little late to the party I know but happy to have gotten on the band wagon finally. Haha.

As for makeup, I bought some products from the lovely Charlotte Tilbury. I picked up the filmstar bronze & glow as well as the wander glow. Can I say, I have been meaning to get my hands on Charlotte Tilbury makeup since I was in my mid-teens, though I could never justify paying in pounds for the product, PLUS in pounds for shipping from England to Australia. Now that I have them in my ever expanding arsenal of makeup they have become staples, so I’m just going to have to suck it up and pay for that extra shipping cost next time. 🙂
