Skincare

Traveling around, you can’t forget about your skin’s health. As you visit different parts of the world, it’s not only your passport that shows signs of travel, so does your skin.

The Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate has been on the shelves for a while now. Considering that just now I am finally able to get my hands on it, I am happy to say it has been well worth waiting for. I had already tried the Moisture Surge creme and found it a little too heavy for my skin.

The product contains vitamin C and E in little beads in the liquid. Vitamin C helps promote healing and protect from sun damage. Vitamin E  helps reduce scaring or damage to the skin due to acne. These vitamins together help add extra antioxidant protection. You can use this product as a moisturiser, if you prefer something not so heavy on the skin. In saying that if you feel your skin is feeling extremely dry, like I sometimes do after a long day spent in the sun. After a good cleansing and an acid toner, I’ll use this product as a serum, followed by a moisturiser. This will have my skin in the morning feeling amazingly soft, plump and rehydrated. I’d do this method as often as required e.g whenever skin is feeling extra dry. Other wise i’d use either Just the Clinique Moisture Surge  or a moisturiser.

I use roughly two pumps onto my finger-tips and rub gently over the whole face and down the neck. It sits perfectly on the skin, its water-based, and absorbs quickly leaving your face feeling refreshed. The product has no oil’s and is fragrance free, like most Clinique products.

Another new little addition to my makeup collection is the YSL touche éclat. It has been years since I have owned a concealer or corrector. Maybe I’m just lazy or probably the more likely, I wanted to spend more money on other makeup products. haha. I won’t write a spiel about this one, its been out for ages, so you all probably know what it does. 🙂 Just a nice little bonus for me.
