Update #1 | Settling in

After my quick journey to England to see the family, I returned to Italy to grab my suitcases and head on to the next destination.

The first couple of days on the Island was mixed; exhausted from travel but still pushing to see and do so much. I feel I went about it the wrong way… It’s Island life. I thought, sit back, relax I’m here for a month so why rush? Exploring, visiting the beaches and finding new heights to snap up some amazing photos happened in those days though.

The Aeolian Islands surrounded by cobalt blue waters are an island lovers dream. Seven gorgeous Islands to explore and endless little bays to pull your boat up in to for a quick dive into the water. For accomodation Jacob and I used Airbnb as usual, but there are plenty of hotels to choose from. My recommendation; hire a scooter and move like a true islander and zoom around to find new places….not like you’ll get lost that easy.

No time is the wrong time to have a dip in the waters, though I’d wear something to protect your feet from walking along the stone beaches sometimes you’ll find your footing a bit burning, hot or ouchy to stand on.
